ONU: Israel entrará en el Consejo Económico y Social por primera vez
Más de dos tercios de los estados miembros de las Naciones Unidas (154 en total) votaron hoy a favor de que Israel sea parte del Consejo Económico y Social (ECOSOC) por primera ocasión en la historia del organismo.
Así, Israel, junto con otros 17 estados, será parte de este órgano desde el día 1 de 2022 hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2024. En total, son 54 los países miembros.
