Airline denies antisemitism after group of Jewish teens are forced off plane

The director of the Jewish summer camp was arrested. Vueling claimed the group engaged in 'disruptive behaviour'. Reports suggest they had been 'singing Hebrew songs'.

The director of a French Jewish summer camp being arrested by Spanish police after the group of Jewish teens were made to disembark from the plane

A low-cost airline owned by a British-Spanish firm has claimed that 50 French Jewish children were removed from a flight and the director of their summer programme arrested for “disruptive behaviour”, with relatives of the children saying that they had been singing Hebrew songs.

Vueling, which is owned by IAG, a multinational airline holding company with its corporate headquarters in England, issued a statement on Thursday morning in relation to “a group of teenage passengers on board flight VY8166 from Valencia to Paris Orly”, which it said had been “disembarked for disruptive behaviour”.

(June 7, 2025 / Israel Hayom)  After nearly a century of archaeological silence, the ancient stones of Sebastia, once known as the city of Shomron (Samaria in English), are speaking again as Israeli excavators uncover remarkable evidence of the grandeur that defined the biblical capital of the Kingdom of Israel.

(June 8, 2025 / JNS)  An international conference, the brainchild of France, to recognize a Palestinian state, has lowered its sights.

Scheduled for June 16-18 at United Nations headquarters in New York, it will now focus on determining steps toward recognition rather than recognition itself.

Huckabee: Report of US recognition of Palestinian state ‘nonsense’

(May 11, 2025 / JNS)  Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee slammed on Saturday a report by The Jerusalem Post citing a “Gulf diplomatic source” saying that President Donald Trump is set to declare U.S. recognition of a Palestinian state “without the presence of Hamas.”

The original reporting was by Ali Hussain in The Media Line and reprinted by The Jerusalem Post.

Trump in Riyadh: Will Israeli sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria once again be the sacrifice for peace?

U.S. President Donald Trump’s Saudi Arabia visit has sparked speculation that he could give a nod in the direction of Palestinian statehood in Judea and Samaria, precisely as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appears to be reviving the possibility of Israeli sovereignty over portions of that territory.

Speaking before a closed-door Knesset committee on Sunday, Israel Hayom reported that Netanyahu said Israel could annex 30% of Judea and Samaria in the near future, while granting autonomy to the Palestinian Authority in other parts of that region, known as Areas A and B.

‘America should never stop transferring arms to its closest ally’

Former U.S. official Elliott Abrams, chairman of the Tikvah Fund, called the Hamas massacre a "wake-up call that Biden's Iran policy has failed."

Elliott Abrams, who served as a senior official in previous Republican administrations and whose last role was enforcing sanctions on the Iranian regime during the Trump administration, opposes delays in U.S. arms shipments to Israel.

“I don’t know what and how much has been held up, but it shouldn’t have happened. The level of delay should be zero,” Abrams tells Israel Hayom in an exclusive interview in the wake of the recent clash between the Biden administration and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

'A grave mistake': Former Houthi official says it was error to attack Israel

The official further explained to Israel Hayom that "the Houthis use tens of millions of Yemenis as human shields when they send a rocket and kill an Israeli civilian."

Thanks to these two appointments, al-Sheikh is now the No.2 in the Palestinian leadership, boosting his chances of being made P.A. chairman.

The list of appointments for the PLO Executive Committee, one of the most influential institutions in the Palestinian political system, was published in Ramallah on Saturday.

It’s time to stop lying to ourselves about Qatar

On the one hand, Doha plays a pivotal role in waging the global jihad against the United States and the free world. On the other hand, it showers them with gifts.

(May 29, 2022 / JNS) The news last week that U.S. President Joe Biden has decided not to remove Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations shouldn’t have come as a very big surprise. A majority of senators oppose removing the largest and most lethal terror group in the world from the list. And if Biden had caved in to Iran’s demand to remove it, he would have endangered the 2015 nuclear deal, which as far as Biden and his advisers are concerned is the be all and end all of their Middle East policy.

(June 7, 2022 / Israel Hayom) Saudi Arabia is engaged in serious talks with Israel about establishing business ties and strengthening security coordination, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

Riyadh and Jerusalem do not maintain official diplomatic ties, but the Gulf kingdom “is expanding secretive talks with Israeli leaders,” according to the report.

The Saudis have so far held off from joining the Abraham Accords, saying any progress in relations with Israel was dependent on progress in the Israeli-

No one to talk to in Washington

Biden and his advisers may believe that Iran becoming a nuclear breakout state outside an agreement could be politically advantageous for them going into the midterm elections.

(May 1, 2022 / JNS) Last Tuesday, Israel Hayom reported that there is a growing sense among Israeli and U.S. officials that the Biden administration will not reach a nuclear accord with Iran. To be understood, the report has to be seen in the context of a statement made later on Tuesday by President Joe Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki.

During her daily press briefing, Psaki said that the administration assesses that Iran is just weeks away from nuclear breakout capabilities. Nuclear breakout is reached when a state achieves the independent wherewithal to develop nuclear weapons. A

The Negev two-state summit

To block criticism of the new Iran nuclear deal, Blinken’s aim at the summit was to neutralize the Israeli-Arab anti-Iran strategic alliance. And he used the two-state solution to achieve this goal.

(April 3, 2022 / JNS) The “two-state solution” has made a comeback. That’s the main take-home lesson from the Negev Summit last week. The final remarks of the four Arab foreign ministers, and U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s remarks at the summit and throughout his visit, make this glaringly obvious. All of Israel’s guests demanded that it be advanced.

The so-called two-state solution has a hundred-year history of uninterrupted failure. In 1920, the League of Nations gave Britain the mandate for Palestine, which they

Ukraine’s Lessons for Israel

In the months and weeks that led up to Russia’s Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine, Western powers signaled clearly that they were prepared to accept the disappearance of Ukraine as an independent state. U.S. President Joe Biden virtually invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to invade in late January when he said that a “minor incursion” would leave NATO flat-footed. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, like his predecessor Angela Merkel, served as the Kremlin’s unofficial spokesman in Europe.

But once Russian forces invaded, the West’s plans to yell a bit and look away went awry. The Ukrainians failed to play their assigned role of Paschal lambs. Instead, they rallied around their flag and their president, Volodymyr Zelensky.

The lessons of suicide terrorists’ last wills and testaments

More than half of the Palestinians responsible for recent attacks have left behind writings that seek to explain their acts and even to urge their “brothers and sisters” to follow in their footsteps.

(December 14, 2021 / Israel Hayom) The Israel Police and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) are still not calling the last eight stabbing and shooting attacks in Jerusalem—along with dozens of other attacks and attempted attacks nationwide in the past 10 weeks—a terror wave. The Israeli public, on the other hand, has been forced to acknowledge that “shahada“—”martyrdom”—is experiencing a renaissance in Palestinian society.

¿Deberían las relaciones de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos con Irán preocupar a Israel?

Ra’am’s success is Israel’s failure

The mask is now off: Knesset member Mansour Abbas and his colleagues want to use their membership in the coalition as leverage to dismantle Israel's Jewish identity.

(November 14, 2021 / JNS) When Prime Minister Naftali Bennett asked to meet with King Abdullah of Jordan in July, Abdullah agreed but insisted the meeting be kept secret. When Bennett’s office leaked the meeting to the Israeli press, the regime-controlled Jordanian media largely ignored the story.

In stark contrast, Abdullah initiated his meeting Tuesday with Mansour Abbas, deputy head of the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement and chairman of the

Is Israel’s funding of the Palestinians’ ‘pay for slay’ program in violation of the law?

If the Palestinian Authority’s budget report is correct, the Israeli government has in effect transferred one-third of the tax funds that it was legally required to withhold, despite Abbas’s continued salaries to terrorists.

(November 14, 2021 / Israel Hayom) Israel has transferred hundreds of millions of shekels to Ramallah that the Palestinian Authority uses to pay terrorist stipends violates Israeli law and contradicts statements by Defense Minister Benny Gantz. This is according to Israeli NGO Palestinian Media Watch’s analysis of an official P.A. report submitted to Western states.

Israel collects taxes on behalf of the P.A. as part of a mechanism outlined in the 1993 Oslo Accords. It then transfers the funds monthly to Ramallah. But in July
