Pastor John Hagee: Begin was ‘heroic’ to bomb Iraqi reactor, Iran ‘even more dangerous’

He also discussed young evangelicals, the battle against anti-Semitism, the right for Israeli sovereignty and the arrival of Ukrainian refugees while he was in the country to receive multiple awards for his longtime work on behalf of Israel and Diaspora Jews.

(March 16, 2022 / JNS) One of America’s most powerful Christian supporters of Israel sees clear similarities between Iran’s race towards nuclear weapons and a daring Israeli strike on an Iraqi nuclear reactor back in 1981.

In a wide-ranging interview, Pastor John Hagee, founder and chairman of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and his own John Hagee Ministries, told JNS that “there’s an exact parallel. If anything, the parallel today is even more dangerous.”

CUFI: Reports of waning evangelical support for Israel are ‘fallacy’

“Our support for Israel has no bounds, has no jurisdiction. We go where the fight is. If it’s in politics, we’re there; if it’s on campus, our students are there. If it’s on social media, our employees are there,” said Sandra Hagee Parker.

(July 21, 2021 / JNS) Speaking at Christian’s United for Israel’s 2021 summit in Dallas on Monday, Sandra Hagee Parker, chair of the CUFI Action Fund and daughter of CUFI founder Pastor John Hagee, the organization’s advocacy wing, said with some force that the multiple polls indicating waning support for Israel among evangelicals are false.

Parker said she originally planned on speaking about the work her organization was doing in state capitals across the United States to support a pro-Israel agenda,

(July 23, 2021 / JNS) Jews are rarely so uninhibited in their support of Israel as evangelical Christians in the United States, whose support for the Jewish state during the weekend’s Christians United for Israel Summit in Dallas, seemed to be a testament of faith.

The organization’s founder, evangelical Pastor John Hagee, set the tone during his address to more than 700 donors and leaders of the organization in person in a

WASHINGTON (JTA) — After a decades-long embrace that began when he first served as Israel’s prime minister in the 1990s, Benjamin Netanyahu’s evangelical allies are worried about a future without him.

Jews who value the Christian alliance are worried, too, about a possible erosion of support among a critical pro-Israel sector should Netanyahu be forced from office, which now seems a strong possibility.

How CUFI has awakened the ‘sleeping giant’ of Christian Zionism

Reflecting on the organization’s 15th anniversary, Pastor John Hagee says that “the most significant achievement was bringing together millions of people from many backgrounds and denominations across America in support of one single cause—Israel and the Jewish people.”

(March 9, 2021 / JNS) This year, Christians United for Israel, one of the most powerful voices for Israel in the United States, marked its 15th anniversary.

“We could never have imagined CUFI would achieve so much, so quickly. But God has blessed us because we are fulfilling our biblical mandate to stand with Israel and His Chosen people,” Pastor John Hagee, founder and chairman of CUFI, told JNS. “This said, I noted when we launched CUFI that there was a sleeping giant of Christian Zionism in this country. That giant has now been awakened. When

5 Million Members!

Less than 10 months after crossing the 4 million member mark, we are thrilled to announce that CUFI now has 5 million members! This news was first broken on Foxnews.com.

As we have been for some time, CUFI is the largest pro-Israel organization in the country. God has indeed blessed Christians United for Israel, but with this great blessing comes a great responsibility. Our efforts must continue full steam ahead! We must continue to be a loud and unequivocal voice in support of the Jewish state, and we must ensure our voice is heard in every church, on every college campus and in the hallowed halls of Congress, each and every day. We cannot rest on our laurels. We must reach our brethren in Christ who’ve not yet realized the importance of standing with Israel, and we must defend against those who choose to attack the Jewish state.
