Netanyahu advierte que Israel atacará Beirut en respuesta a las violaciones del cese del fuego de Hezbollah

El primer ministro, Benjamín, Netanyahu, anunció la aprobación de ataques en Beirut, tras la muerte de dos soldados israelíes y un grave aumento de los ataques del grupo terrorista chií Hezbollah contra el norte de Israel.

“Debido a las reiteradas violaciones del alto el fuego en Líbano por parte del grupo terrorista Hezbollah y los ataques contra nuestras ciudades y ciudadanos, he ordenado a las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI), junto con el Ministro de Defensa Israel Katz, que ataquen objetivos terroristas en el barrio de Dahieh, en el sur de Beirut”, anunció Netanyahu.

El primer ministro, Benjamín Netanyahu, afirmó que Israel está preparado para hablar de la “etapa final” de la guerra en Gaza, en la que “Hamás depondrá las armas”, a sus dirigentes “se les permitirá salir al exterior” y se posibilitará “la implementación del plan Trump” de “emigración voluntaria” de los gazatíes.

Al inicio de una reunión de su gobierno celebrada este domingo, Netanyahu también dijo de que su gabinete se reunió este sábado por la noche y decidió “aumentar la presión” en Gaza, según sus palabras reproducidas por la Oficina del Primer Ministro en un comunicado.

Israel identifica a los 16 comandantes de Hezbollah abatidos en Beirut y revela que conducían planes para invadir la Galilea

Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) nombraron a los altos jefes de la Fuerza Radwan, del grupo terrorista chií libanés Hezbollah que fueron abatidos junto a su máximo comandante, Ibrahim Aqil, ayer, durante un ataque aéreo en el vecindario de la Dahiya en Beirut.

Aqil era el jefe de las operaciones militares de Hezbollah, y se desempeñaba como comandante de la unidad de elite Radwan, y era el cerebro del plan para invadir la Galilea.

Aqil se estaba reuniendo con altos comandantes de la Fuerza Radwan, en el segundo subsuelo del estacionamiento de un edificio residencial en Beirut, cuando cuatro misiles disparados desde una avión F-15 israelí hicieron impacto uno tras otro sobre el lugar.

Un total de 16 comandantes y altos oficiales de Hezbollah, incluyendo Aqil, fallecieron en el ataque.

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA — Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, the top leader of the Iranian-funded, armed, and directed Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon, is dead.

The 64-year-old terror master was assassinated on Friday afternoon in a massive Israeli air strike on Hezbollah’s underground headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon.

His death was confirmed by Israel Defense Forces on Saturday morning, and by Hezbollah later in the afternoon.

In the most significant hit Lebanese terrorist and Iranian proxy group Hezbollah has taken in recent years, in an event that rocked Lebanon, over 3,600 people were wounded throughout the country on Tuesday – a large majority of them Hezbollah members – at around 3:30 p.m., when the pagers that they used to communicate exploded. Additional Hezbollah operatives in Syria and Iraq fell victim to the attack as well.

Blinken: Israel has ‘lost sovereignty’ in the north

(July 2, 2024 / JNS)   Israel has “effectively lost sovereignty” over the northern part of its country amid ongoing attacks from Lebanon, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Monday.

“People don’t feel safe to go to their homes,” the secretary stated during a panel at the Brookings Institute, noting that “you have many Lebanese in Southern Lebanon who have also been chased from their homes.”

El ministro de Exteriores francés, Stéphane Séjourné, aterrizó en Beirut para mantener encuentros con las autoridades del Líbano en medio de una escalada de violencia fronteriza entre el grupo terrorista chií libanés Hezbollah e Israel.

La Agencia Nacional de Noticias (ANN) libanesa informó de que el jefe de la diplomacia francesa llegó a Beirut en su segunda visita oficial al país mediterráneo desde su nombramiento en enero y que se entrevistará con el primer ministro libanés, Najib Mikati, y otras autoridades.

Hezbollah and its allies lost the majority it held in the Lebanese parliament, as their opponent, the Christian Lebanese Forces, became the largest Christian party in parliament after the final results of the elections in the country were announced on Tuesday.

The election process was marred by violence, violations of election regulations and power outages, with only about 41% of voters casting their vote.

Este vertedero tiene 20 años y se extiende sobre 291 dunams (29,1 hectáreas).
