Los turistas extranjeros podrán volver a Israel desde el 1 de marzo

Con la ola de Ómicron en descenso el Gobierno decidió admitir a viajeros de todas las edades más allá de si están o no vacunados. Deberán presentar una prueba de PCR.

Luego de casi dos años de estrictas restricciones para volar a Israel el Gobierno anunció que desde el 1 de marzo los residentes extranjeros podrán ingresar al país independientemente de si están vacunados o no contra el COVID-19.

Esto indica que los niños pequeños pueden volver a visitar Israel.

La única condición para entrar a Israel es la presentación de una prueba de PCR realizada antes del despegue y tras el aterrizaje. Solo aquellos con un resultado negativo antes de despegar podrán seguir viaje.

Over 2.5 million Israelis currently live in poverty, among them more than 1.1 million children, and 932,000 households live in a state of economic distress, a new survey released this week revealed. Of these 932,000 households (31.6% of all households in Israel), 233,000 were added in 2021 alone, as families grappled with the worst economic effects of the ongoing pandemic.

(JTA) — When the world shut down last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Natan Sharansky figured his experience as a Soviet political prisoner meant he had a thing or two to teach the millions of people who were suddenly confined to their homes.

So he recorded a video providing his advice that went viral among the many Jews around the world who have long seen him as a sage figure.

Nearly a year and a half later, Sharansky, 73, announced on Facebook that he and his wife, Avital, had contracted the disease. The Israeli couple had both been vaccinated months ago, and are both recovering.

Online Anti-Semitism Skyrocketed in 2020 Amid COVID-19 Pandemic, New Tel Aviv University Report Finds

While the number of worldwide incidents of violent attacks targeting Jews fell in 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic-related social-distancing behavior, online anti-Semitism skyrocketed, according to a new annual anti-Semitism report put out this week by Tel Aviv University’s Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry in cooperation with the European Jewish Congress (EJC).

The report was based on thousands of testimonies collected from across the globe.

The study found that the number of physical assaults on Jews dropped to 371 in 2020 from 456 the previous year.
