Mansour Abbas says Ra'am will split from Shura Council, Muslim Brotherhood

Ra'am chair Mansour Abbas said his party will separate from the Shura Council and the Muslim Brotherhood, following US moves against the Islamist organization.

Ra'am (United Arab List) chair MK Mansour Abbas announced that his party would separate from the Shura Council and Muslim Brotherhood during a Saturday interview with Channel 12's Meet the Press.

The United Arab List would establish independent institutions to fill any gaps left by the proposed split.

After 456 days in captivity, Hamas released a sign of life from 19-year-old IDF soldier Liri Albag, who was kidnapped by terrorists from her base in Nahal Oz during the invasion and massacre on Oct. 7, 2023.

Since then, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad have released several videos and images of the hostages, using them in a campaign of psychological warfare and propaganda to increase domestic pressure on the Israeli government to secure a deal.

'Days of Repentance': Israel strikes multiple targets across Iran in retaliatory strikes

Israel confirmed it had struck numerous military sites during its retaliatory strikes on Iran on Saturday in an operation later named "Days of Repentance."

The attack was declared over by 5:45 a.m., just as the sun began rising over Tehran, according to public broadcaster KAN11.

US said to be mediating Israel-Saudi talks over Red Sea islands’ sovereignty

(May 24, 2022 / JNS) The Biden administration is secretly mediating between Israel and Saudi Arabia in an effort to reach an arrangement over the transfer of the Tiran and Sanafir Red Sea islands to Saudi sovereignty, Walla reported on Monday.

If the negotiations succeed, they could pave the path for “significant normalization steps,” the report stated.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is eyeing a new “national camp,” or right-wing bloc in Israeli politics, that would run together with his Yamina party in the next national elections and would include some of his current political allies such as Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu and Gideon Sa’ar New Hope party.

En su casa en Israel, Benny Gantz tuvo una reunión con Abbas


Enlace Judío – El ministro de Defensa de Israel, Benny Gantz, informó este martes que este día tuvo un nuevo encuentro con el presidente de la Autoridad Palestina, Mahmoud Abbas.

La oficina de Gantz señaló en un comunicado que el encuentro, el segundo entre los dos en lo que va del año, se realizó en el domicilio particular del ministro en la ciudad israelí de Rosh Haayin.

La cadena israelí Kan publicó un video que mostró el momento en el que el convoy de Abbas salió de la residencia de Gantz.

(December 15, 2021 / JNS) Israel is concerned about the prospect of Hezbollah operatives entrenched in Lebanon gaining access to chemical weapons, Walla reported on Tuesday.

The report came one day after The Washington Post reported that Syrian chemical-weapons targets were attacked by Israel in 2020 and 2021.

Israel, Jordania y Emiratos firmarán acuerdo en materia de energía solar y agua, según reporte


Enlace Judío – Israel, Jordania y los Emiratos Árabes Unidos buscarían firmar un acuerdo la próxima semana en virtud del cual una planta solar en el desierto de Jordania generará energía para Israel, a cambio de una planta desalinizadora en Israel que proporcionará agua a Jordania.

Former foreign minister Tzipi Livni is considering joining the race to head the Jewish Agency, as several members of the agency’s nominating committee are considering selecting a woman to head the organization for the first time in its history, The Times of Israel has learned.
