Numerous artifacts from the second and third centuries CE were discovered in an underground city in Mardin, Turkey, The Daily Sabah reported on Tuesday.

According to Ancient Origins, the researchers believe the underground Turkish city may be the largest in the world.

Though the 44-year-old actress and producer is also the author of the 2021 book “Israel: A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth,” she is best known at home and abroad for her roles in famous TV series.

(July 28, 2022 / JNS) Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations had a blunt message for the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday. When it comes to addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Gilad Erdan said the council, essentially, can’t see the forest for the trees.

At its quarterly open debate on the Israeli-Palestinian file, Erdan slammed the council for focusing their conversations on trivial matters, like municipal rulings or local tribal disputes. He called the approach counterproductive to bottom-up peace efforts and collaborative progress, which he said were possible.

In a much-reported move, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt signed an agreement at the Lebanese Energy Ministry in Beirut on June 21 for the provision of Egyptian natural gas to Lebanon, via Syria. According to the deal, Egypt will export 650 million cubic meters of natural gas per year to the Deir Ammar power plant in Lebanon. The gas will reach Lebanon through the Arab Gas Pipeline (AGP), which runs through Jordan and Syria.

According to a report by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the episode of “Pioneers of Tomorrow” on the Hamas television station showed a little girl saying that the Jews must not be allowed to destroy the Al-Aqsa mosque. A young boy said that Muslims should follow Islamic law and that the land would be liberated from Israel.
