Qatar has given Hamas an ultimatum to accept the ceasefire deal proposed by the US and Israel or face expulsion from Doha, according to a report by CNN.

United Nations to put Israel on blacklist of countries harming children in conflict zones

The United Nations has decided to add Israel to its blacklist of countries and organizations harming children in conflict zones, UN Secretary-General António Guterres told Israel’s defense attache in the U.S., Maj.-Gen. Hedy Silberman, Israeli media reported on Thursday.

Despite Israel's weeks-long efforts to dissuade Guterres from taking this step, Israel is expected to be included on the list to be published next week as part of a report to the UN Security Council, according to local Channel 13 News.

Ireland Joins Spain and Norway in Recognizing Palestinian State

Ireland joined Spain and Norway on Tuesday in officially recognizing a “sovereign and independent” Palestinian state, agreeing to “establish full diplomatic relations between Dublin and Ramallah.”

According to the Irish government, “an Ambassador of Ireland to the State of Palestine will be appointed along with a full Embassy of Ireland in Ramallah.”

Yael Dayan died last week and no major world newspaper ran an obituary or even mentioned her. Not the New York Times, not the New York Post, not the LA Times, not the Globe, not the Times of London or the Telegraph or the Guardian, not Le Monde or Le Figaro, not Die Zeit or Die Welt.

Esta semana, el Ministerio de Turismo de Israel anunció que, a partir del 1 de agosto, los viajeros provenientes de países exentos de visa deberán solicitar una autorización de viaje electrónica (ETA) antes de su llegada a Israel. Esta nueva medida incluye a los visitantes que provienen de Estados Unidos.

Esto añade un paso para muchos turistas que, hasta ahora, solo necesitaban comprar un boleto de avión para viajar a Israel.
