(June 26, 2020 / JNS) As the debate over whether or not Israel should apply sovereignty to parts of Judea and Samaria intensifies as the proposed July timeline for instituting the decision approaches, a new report by the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) says that the extension of Israeli sovereignty in the Jordan Valley would actually “advance” U.S. national security interests.

JERUSALEM (JTA) — A Jordanian ammunition stash from the 1967 Six-Day War was discovered under the site of the Western Wall tunnels.

The ammunition, including rifle magazines, full clip chargers and two bayonets, were found Wednesday during excavations of a British Mandate-period water cistern, the Israel Antiquities Authority said in a statement.

El Ayuntamiento de Beverly Hills condena por unanimidad la distorsión del Holocausto lituano

Diario Judío México - La Red de Acción Cívica israelí-estadounidense (ICAN) aplaude a la ciudad de Beverly Hills esta noche tras la aprobación de una resolución que condena al gobierno lituano por promover activamente la distorsión del Holocausto.

“Hay una tendencia inquietante de distorsión del Holocausto respaldada por el gobierno que se extiende por toda Europa oriental”, dijo Vered Elkouby Nisim, presidenta de ICAN CA. “Hoy, Lituania lidera una campaña oscura y cínica de distorsión del Holocausto y agradecemos a la Ciudad de Beverly Hills por tener el coraje de levantarse y hablar en contra de esta forma insidiosa de antisemitismo patrocinado por el estado”.
