Archaeologists find ancient mosque in Israel

Archaeologists from the Israel Antiques Authority (IAA) have discovered an ancient mosque in the Negev desert near the city of Rahat in the Southern District of Israel.

Excavations were part of a state-funded project through the Negev Bedouin Development and Settlement Authority, which is building a new neighbourhood in the Bedouin city.

The site dates from 1200-years-ago and represents one of the earliest mosques in the region, a period when a transition was made from Christian to Muslim rule. The mosque contains a square room and a wall facing towards the direction of Mecca, with a half-circle niche that points south.

Saudi Arabia has lifted its unofficial embargo against Turkish exports, a senior Saudi official told a group of Turkish and Saudi businessmen in Ankara.

Majid Bin Abdullah al-Qasabi, Saudi minister of commerce, said at a trade event between the two countries that as of Thursday there were no custom restrictions against Turkish goods in Saudi Arabia, according to a report by Turkish state news agency Anadolu.

Estas fugas pueden surgir en cualquier lugar a lo largo del trayecto que hace el agua desde los embalses o los centros de desalinización hasta las tuberías principales e interiores.

Los esfuerzos acumulados de los servicios de inteligencia alemanes condujeron a la publicación de otra acusación condenatoria de los esfuerzos del régimen iraní por conseguir tecnología ilícita para su programa nuclear en la república federal.

«Las agencias de inteligencia nacionales alemanas pudieron identificar un aumento significativo de los indicios de intentos de adquisición relacionados con la proliferación por parte de Irán para su programa nuclear», afirma el informe de la Oficina Federal para la Protección de la Constitución (BfV).

La agencia de inteligencia añadió que «si había una sospecha de posibles violaciones del Plan de Acción Integral Conjunto, el acuerdo nuclear de Irán de 2015, la BfV transmitió la información pertinente a las autoridades responsables.»
