Defense Minister Israel Katz on Tuesday directly threatened the life of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warning him that he could end up like killed former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

This constitutes the clearest escalation of Israel considering assassinating Khamenei to date.

Iran has ordered thousands of tons of ballistic missile ingredients from China as part of an effort to rebuild its military capabilities while navigating ongoing nuclear talks with the United States, according to a Wall Street Journal report on Thursday, citing sources familiar with the transactions.

The shipments, which are expected to reach Iran in the coming months, include ammonium perchlorate, a key component in the solid propellant used for ballistic missiles. Sources indicated that these materials could potentially fuel hundreds of missiles.

Several major European picture agencies have stopped working with a Gaza-based photographer after a German documentary revealed he staged an image portraying hunger in the Strip.

Anas Zayed Fteiha, a contributor to Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency, was filmed arranging a photo of Palestinian children with outstretched empty bowls – seemingly queuing for food. But a wide-angle shot in the documentary, broadcast by Süddeutsche Zeitung, shows the scene was constructed in an open area with no aid distribution taking place.

Moshe Atias, 18, from Ashdod, was indicted on Thursday for committing severe security crimes on behalf of the Iranian regime during the Israel-Hamas War.

Atias contacted the Iranian intelligence spies through the Telegram app, under the username “Yosi Atias.” From them, he received various instructions, including gathering sensitive information and surveiling public sites. The three agents he was in contact with identified as “Sagi,” “Sam,” and “Sol Allison.”

Una investigación de la Universidad de Valencia encontró un dibujo del famoso erudito judío medieval, Maimónides, que revelaría la estructura original del Arca de la Alianza. El hallazgo se dio en el marco de un trabajo que comparaba distintos escritos históricos de la cultura hebrea.

El estudio científico fue encabezado por Gabriel Songel, un catedrático de Diseño de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) en España, que reveló la relación entre un “grafiti” del siglo I a.C. en la Casa Quemada del barrio de Herodes en Jerusalén y las descripciones de la menorá (el famoso candelabro judío de 7 brazos descrito en la Biblia) con el sanctasanctorum donde se custodiaba el Arca de la Alianza.

El ministro alemán de Asuntos Exteriores, Johann Wadephul, se reunió este viernes con el presidente de la Autoridad Palestina (AP), Mahmud Abbas, en el marco de su viaje a Israel y Cisjordania, y subrayó el papel del “autogobierno palestino” en la reconstrucción gazatí.

“La AP es la única representante reconocida de los intereses de los palestinos. Debe volver a Gaza y el presidente Abbas me lo ha subrayado expresamente”, señaló Wadephul en una declaración a los medios alemanes que le acompañan en su visita a Israel y los territorios palestinos.
