THE CAMPAIGN IS UNDERWAY

THE CAMPAIGN IS UNDERWAY

Join the 2019 #WeRemember campaign for International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27th. Together, we can make sure the memory of the Holocaust is never forgotten.

With antisemitism on the rise across the globe and the number of survivors dwindling with each passing year, it is more important than ever toperserve the memory of the Holocaust.

The #WeRemember campaign seeks to harness the power of digital media to spread knowledge and awareness of the Holocaust, while passing on its lessons to younger generations in order to prevent future genocides and atrocities.

Individuals and organizations around the world take part by posting a picture of themselves holding a sign with the words “We Remember” to social media with the hashtag #WeRemember. All photos are then projected for 72 hours on the grounds of the Auschwitz Birkenau concentration camp, and subsequently live-streamed via Facebook LIVE, YouTube, and Twitter.

You can join by following these two easy steps!

1.- Take a picture of yourself holding a 'We Remember' sign;
2.- Post it to social media with the hashtag #WeRemember or send it to weremember@wjc.org;
