The city of Jerusalem conjures up so many emotions in all who visit and feel it’s holiness.
The Western Wall, the outer retaining wall of what was once the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, is where people feel the holiness the most.
But, it is across the entire city that one feels it’s awesome power.
This video montage features scenes from the Six Day War, when the city was reunited after 19 years of Jordanian occupation when Jews were not allowed to pray at their holiest site.
Psalm 137:
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem,
let my right hand forget her cunning.
Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth,
if I remember thee not;
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem.
IfI set not Jerusalem
above my chiefest joy
Remember Lord, against the children of Edom
the day of Jerusalem.
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem.
Wo say:’Rase it, rase it,
even to the foundation thereof.’
If I set not Jerusalem
above my chiefest joy.
